Jan 12, 2009 ... MenuVantage, the market's premier
web-based menu selling system, today announced an updated version
of its highly successful service drive ...
ORLANDO, Fla. -- MenuVantage, a web-based menu selling system,
has incorporated a Red Flags Rule compliance solution that is
integrated into its menu selling software and embedded into
the sales process. It is a no cost value-added tool for current
and future MenuVantage auto dealer customers, providing unlimited
free Red Flags checks.
MenuVantage's Red Flags Rule solution is an automated compliance
solution that will help protect vehicle dealerships from claims,
fines and litigation. The solution provides electronic best
practices to create turn-key, "good faith" compliance
programs that increase protection, reduce liabilities and help
mitigate identity theft in accordance with the Federal Trade
Commission's Red Flags Rule. The Red Flags Rule mandates that
dealers implement an identity theft prevention program by Nov.
1, 2008.
"As MenuVantage now integrates with 13 DMS providers besides
Reynolds and Reynolds and ADP, there is virtually no franchised
dealership in the US and Canada that cannot benefit from this
solution," commented Philip Battista, MenuVantage Co-CEO.
"Our solution is a simplified, streamlined path to help
dealers conform to the FTC's Red Flags Rule and is another illustration
of our commitment to dealers in providing industry-leading technology
and solutions in the F&I Office," he added.
"We are very excited to team with MenuVantage and place
our products on their Provider Exchange Network as the process
will now be instantaneous so claims on contracts-in-transit
are covered. It also ensures no rating errors and eliminates
F&I chargebacks," commented Bob Corbin, president of
IAS. Read
